We are a modern and dynamic road construction company founded in 2010, by Van Huynegem Willem-Jan and some external Partners, with roots in the province of Antwerp and expanding into the provinces of East Flanders, Flemish Brabant and the Brussels Capital Region.
Over the years we have specialized in performing maintenance work in asphalt, concrete and clinker works. We also have some very reliable partners who assist us in executing larger projects. In this regard, we are responsible for the preparation and coordination of these projects.
To successfully complete these projects, we have driven and motivated
employees, the so-called “Tribe.”
To describe us, the word “Tribe” is still the closest description.
Why the use of the word “Tribe”?
“A Tribe” is an abbreviation for “People’s tribe,” and that is the feeling our employees get when they work for VHP. In a folk tribe, everyone feels safe, secure and supported,
so that everyone can flourish and develop in their own way and at their own pace.
This also allows us to be very proactive towards all of our clients.
To the great satisfaction of both public administrations and private clients.
We adhere to 5 core values in all its aspects.
Delivering quality is not an art, but a choice. A choice we are glad to make to the general satisfaction of all our stakeholders.
It is our duty to allow every road user, employee and inhabitant that crosses our road construction sites to do so in absolute safety.
The profitable follow-up of projects means for us: delivering the work within budget and on schedule, under the approving eye of our clients.
With today’s very fast-changing world, our customers are demanding more and more flexibility, which of course we are happy to provide. Because of our flexible planning and “mindset,” we can answer these questions positively.
All this is done in a constructive and efficient atmosphere.
Beyond being a “tribe” and wanting to maintain this “DNA,” we are also known for our “after-work sessions,” which take place behind our offices at some scheduled and some also unscheduled
dates.
These sessions ensure that years of anecdotes are passed down from generation to generation, much to the amusement of those present at that time.
By not aspiring to be the largest road builder in Europe, our employees find themselves blindly immersed in this colleague-friendly atmosphere.
